Cristina Trujillo, our founder, started Zero Panik after struggling to find responsible ways to dispose of her boys’ worn-out clothes. This personal challenge fueled a four-year journey to research, raise awareness, and establish a tangible solution for textile recycling.

Her dedication proved that communities are eager for convenient and effective textile recycling. Now, we are scaling our efforts, leveraging advanced technology to meet this growing demand and ensure textiles find their way back into the loop, not the landfill.

Maximizing Resource Recovery

For 100% pure fabrics like cotton, polyester, silk, and wool, we partner with specialized textile processors. These partners have the capability to break down these materials, creating high-quality recycled fabrics for new product manufacturing.

For other collected materials that cannot be repaired or upcycled, we either store them temporarily until a better recycling solution arises or sell them back to processors who are exploring the latest innovations in breaking down blended fibers into recycled fabric. Our goal is always to prevent items from reaching combustion or landfills.
